Should the holes in the lid be punched from the bottom or top??? All the teks have different ways, so which is best???

Which way is the easiest though so inserting the syringe needle won't be as hard???

Punch them from the top so the jagged edge points into the jar.

It would also depend on which way you prefer you lid, rubber side up or down. But in the end, it makes no difference which way, a hole is a hole and the needle will fit through just as easily either way.

They r all right!!

Like the last post, it really doesn't matter, but itz eaiser to get a syringe through a hole thatz been pressed downwords because of the jagged edges...A lot of peeps turn the lids upside down when using grain jars compared to brf/flour jars...This is just because grains usually require more air/co2 exchange and when you put the lids right-side up this creates basically an air-tight seal!  But either way works~~~ :laugh:
