i haven't had a lick of spyware in years and I have no idea how I caught this mother fucker.  what a pain to remove, I said fuck it after a few hours of trying.  i just got done reformatting...

fuckin aye, programmers getting too damn smart for their own good.  computer literates aren't supposed to get pwned by spyware :wtf:

Did you try system restoring back to when your computer was clean?

system restore doesn't remove viruses or spyware, but yes of course I tried it.  i'm pretty sure it was my sister, i'm so damn anal about how I browse and use the internet.  i'm just going to not allow anyone else to use this machine.

i'm pretty versed on a computer so I tried all the standard removal methods, this fucker is tough though.  I probably could have removed it but with how it pwns your firefox, IE, etc made it impossible to read or view tutorials on how to remove it.  I only had access to this PC at the time so I decided to format.

blahhhh, lost tons of good music this time.  ftl, ftl ftl.

naaaaaah nothing was THAT important, just all music.  all my really important files I did back up.  this one really isn't all that easy to remove, but yeah I did give up pretty easily.  once this thing really fucks up your computer, unless you have total prior knowledge of how to remove it or another machine to aid you, it's a pickle.  definitely the most ass kicking spyware i've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

Do yourself a favor if you don't have a seperate HD

Make a seperate PARTITION to store all your Music/Program Install files/Porn (i know your a porn freak) and so on that partition so next time you reformat you only reformat the windows partition (i use linux) and you can keep everything else

yeaaaaa yea i know, i been lazy.  i haven't kept this machine up for shit, it's kinda just a throwback until I get off my ass (and build a new machine).  usually i'm such a tidy computer guy, that's why i'm flipping shit over one spyware issue.
