Did Jesus Eat Magic Mushrooms At Last Supper?

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- Chew on this: An ethnobotanist in Santa Cruz, California, thinks Jesus was munching magic mushrooms at the Last Supper.
Clark Heinrich says man has enjoyed the psychedelic effects of mushrooms since thousands of years before Christ -- and figured the King of Kings probably turned on as well.

In fact, he thinks Jesus was high on a psychedelic 'shroom known as "fly agaric" which was hailed for its taste as well as its trips.

Heinrich says the mushroom resembles pita bread and when soaked with water it feels exactly like human skin. He figures that's the bread that Jesus was referring to at the last supper when he said "eat this bread, this is my body."

But that's not the only way Jesus might have doled out psychedelics. Heinrich says people who eat lots of shrooms have a reddish-orange urine that's even more hallucinogenic -- and figures the almighty turned water into wine by whizzing into a five-gallon jug of H20.

Heinrich is the author of a new book, "Magic Mushrooms In Religion And Alchemy" (Park Street Press).

i just ordered that book just days ago... i understood theories out there suggested christ survived the crucifiction by appearing dead by using compounds that slowed down his metabolism to a point of a death like state... of course the centurian sticking a sword in his side places a different spin on it... although said to be inspired by god, men still put that book together...

i understand this much regarding jesus of the bible... 17 years of his life was spent in area's throughout asia where he could have easilly gained insights into these enthobotanicals... he certainly developed a keen ability to fuck with the preists in the temple to the point they wanted his ass dead... i hope this book gets here soon ... u got me going now!!!

Ive been looking into this myself, and while some do believe its the fly algeric..I honestly thing thats a misunderstanding...OR he ALSO used Fly Algerics. I've not yet delved deep enough into Fly Algeric so I cant speak from a lot of trip experience with that, but psilocybin mushrooms is what I think was being passed around. There is a lot of old christian art that refferences this, and on old picture of the middle ages, displaying the last supper looked to be some type of mushroom. I looked into what mushrooms are native to Israel area, and there is one type native to there that looks identical to this last supper display.
I believe it was this one
"Gymnopilus Junonius is a species of mushroom in the Cortinariaceae family. ... This large inedible orange mushroom is typically found growing on tree stumps, logs, or tree bases. Some subspecies of this mushroom contain the hallucinogenic compound psilocybin."


I had a very christian religious experience my first true psilocybin journey. Which was my second time consuming the mushrooms. First time was to low a dose to do much. I suspect it was psilocybin containing fungai. I also believe they were an integral part of the holy eucharist, and the vatican decided to replace it with a placeabo eucharist that became a symbolic experience for us christians, instead of the mystical/religious/spiritual experience the original provided.

Obviously I can't yet say this for a fact, but its what Im gathering from the research I have been doing.
