Haha, i was thinking more along the lines of something peaceful. Thinking back to civil rights, we could put a huge boycott in place to put even more economic pressure on the govt than there already is. But i dont know how something like that is going to bring about the massive change needed

Honestly, IMO it will take an armed revolt to initiate any real change.

Sadly, there are far too few people who are willing to take up arms against the government for a revolt to be successful.

It's not the government that's the problem, its the complacent populous. As long as we have ipods, reality tv, and celebrity escapist fantasies to chase after no one will ever really care.

You want change, let it all crumble. I don't want to fix the problems, I want it wiped out of existence. Till then, some of us are just watching and waiting for the right time to act.

if a bunch of stoned out hippies can organize for a sit in, protest, drug educed fuck fest to stop the Vietnam war, why is it that there has been nothing done now?  because even those hippies had a collective backbone, something truly lacking in our country today. wanna make something happen? well here you go- talk to people find others who are as pissed as you, and then through personal correspondence, talk to others with the same feeling, go to where the people are and seek them out, we are out there, and with enough effort from enough people it will happen. it's just a matter of time now, we haven't hit bottom yet in this country, but we will, and soon. an when that happens people will loose their shit and riot like a motherfucker. hopefully it will start in California on thursday when the vote down the act to legalize and tax marijuana( which would save our economy!)

Thanks to the patriot act and the "terrorists" :smirk: you can now be held indefinitely.  Your leaders have you by the balls.  If you protest you are being non-patriotic.  Don't you know what god does to sinners?

Seriously though, you have no chance of a revolution because they already have you.  Next is for them to take away your weapons and control your identity and money by chipping you.

I'm not paranoid, its obvious.  I would do the same if I was a part of the rich elite corporate empire that is controlling the majority of the world.

I'm not going to debate politics with you, I truly don't care what your political beliefs are, and I have no intention of cramming mine down your throat. I'm well aware of how easy life is here, I've had more first hand perspective of that than most ever will.

I'm not encouraging anyone to destroy what we have, I simply see that it is collapsing of its own accord. It's just the way things go, no government lasts forever, and this stage of little experiment in democracy is coming to an end.

Are you saying that you have to have an assault rifle to have a revolt?

I can take out more people with a good high powered hunting rifle with a scope, than you can with an assault rifle.
