drink some hard liquor. That does the job. Get plenty drunk and you wont even remember your fucked up throat. Oh, and stop smoking. And take a shower, and gargle some salt water. Drink some lemon/mint tea as well. All of these things will help. but liquor is key.

Spraying phenol in the throat or menthol and some kind of analgesic is the best you can do for now.

Garlic, Cayenne, Cider Vinegar, Lemon juice, fresh Chilli + Boiling water, gargle rinse repeat, it puts it away.
