death by heroin

Never done it, never will. However, I was wondering if one decided to kill themselves with an overdose of heroin... would it be some sort of euphoric journey to the netherworld... or would it just suck?

I'd imagine it'd be like nodding out and not waking up.  Sounds like an easy way out.  :shrug:

Yeah, I've done it (not OD, but I've done H) and I always thought it would be a great way to die, if I were so inclined.

That being said, I do not recommend that you kill yourself using heroin.  You'll just become another statistic and help feed the lies that drugs are evil.

Being woken up from an OD probably sucks, or ODing on coke or some type of upper would probably blow, but ODing on smack you just fall asleep and never wake up.  You just stop breathing, and you're already unconscious.  I don't see how that could be bad.

I suppose if your heart stopped before you were fully nodded out it would hurt like a bitch, but if you didn't overkill it from the start it might not be too bad.

Exactly.  A lot of people who OD on heroin would actually live if they got up and just kept walking around, and had someone to talk to them and keep them awake.  They fuck up by going to sleep.  As the brain goes into its natural REM cycles, heart rate just keeps slowing, and slowing with each cycle, until you stop breathing.

I saw this nigga shooting in his neck screaming eagle I think you call it. I thought he ODd because he just fell back and his breathing got all shallow but then he came to eventually. Not that shooting in the neck makes it any more dangerous, but it is  just weird to see.

Heroin is Diamorphine, doctors use it in the netherlands as pain killers when patients undergoe surgery.

There was a case a few years ago with these strange deaths with people's hearts just stopping... it was unusual because in the event of a heart attack, the person's face is contorted with anquish, often times they are on the floor with a look of agony trying desperately to reach a telephone to call for assistance....none were found like this in this serial killer case.

They eventually found that the doctor was using Diamorphine, the opiate known as Heroin, to murder....


As none of the people murdered were found to have been in agony before they died, and the fact that all of them were very peaceful looking, I would say that Heroin would probably be the least painless way to kill yourself.

Yea if I got cancer or something Id probably kill myself instead of suffering through hell.

I think the British pharmaceutical version they call Diamorphine as the brand name or something.  Like we say Oxycontin for the brand name, or Percocet, of oxycodone.
