Growing outdoors

Well i decided i can't grow mushrooms indoors cause of my parents so i decided that at the start of next summer i will start an outdoor patch, seeing that is the only way i'll get to and it gives me a lot of time to do tons of research, but where do i read on how to grow outside and what strain to use and all that, some one help please

Here's the sad thing, theres not a whole lot of info on growing outdoors. Probably your best bet would be to do searches on this forum. As far as what strain, well that depends on your location. If you live in a warm or semi temperate climate, I'd say go for cubensis, if you live in colder, well you will have to ask someone else. Here's a hint on info, do a search for moe's outdoor tek.

Well I've heard of people as far north as Quebec succeeding at outdoor cubensis patches, what strain of cubensis, I'm not sure. I think orchidman knew something about that, PM him. Just read into the growth parameters of the different mushrooms, if you go to google and do a search on psilocybe mushrooms growht parameters, you may just find what you are looking for. I'd recommend cubensis since they are the easiest, but if you feel like you got some big cojones, go for azures or some other cold loving species. Good Luck and read up.
