Hey guys,I think I want tot start growing shrooms or atleast try to!I don't want to spend lots of money because I don't have lots to spend.I saw these "myco grow bags" at shamanshop.com and there only $25,wich doesn't sound bad to me! I read through the instructions and it actualy sounds pretty easy to do,just wondering has any of you guys here on the shroomery used the myco bags, and if so what were the results?
I also need a little help with selecting a strain to grow, the myco bags are for grain loving shrooms so it must be a strain that likes grains right?I want somthing that colonizes very fast, and is good for beginers to try in a myco bag, what are some good choices?I have found golden teacher and treasure coast and mazatapec, these sounded like the best bet, what do you guys think? Any info would be great, thanks guys!

www.sporeworks.com is a better place, it's only $15. Treasure coast seems to colonize the fastest on the bags. I'm harvesting after 6 weeks. I'm still harvesting, but from what I read, average yield is 1/2 oz. dry.

Bags are an excellent way to start for the worry-free. I highly recommend sporeworksfor the bags, as for syringes I've found the Little Guy's Golden Teacher strain to be very hardy and colonizes at a good pace. It's tough and will give you good results, but really any strain will do. The only strain which i have heard to be problematic are Puertos and from experience i have to say that this is true.
good luck

Alright thanks guys for the info.I think I will try the bags because they seem so much more cheaper and easier to use.I know if I had to do all the other steps like "do it your self" setup's like all the pro's do I would probably fuck everything up! I think I may try the treasure coast strain. Hey do you guys know any place or website that gives info about the differences in effects/trips of different strains of shrooms?I would assume different mushrooms and different strains or shrooms would give a little different effects,am I wrong? Thanks
