well there's always harmine from syrian rue seeds... read up on it cause it's not for everyone... but if you shop around you can get the seeds in bulk for like $2/oz, so like $.25/dose or so...

they stop an enzyme from doing its thing in the body... some folks are doing meds that don't mix with maois like harmine... some guy over at dmt world took like 6 grams (?) and has a ringing in his ears that just won't go away... some folks get nauseous or dizzy or sleepy... not to be mixed with some foods or amino acids or Rx or otc drugs... but some folks dig it and think it mixes very well with shrooms or a or salvia or trypts, but not with e or mesc or speed... and some folks find it organic and grounding, while others find it way too wierd... check out trip reports at erowid or lycaeum or ayahuasca.com or here and there...
