I could see dropping the guy if he was a hardcore drug user...i.e. needles, coke, ect...No company wants to be associated with that. But all he did was smoke a little pot. Nothing too crazy went on. No need to be dick about it.  I thought kelloggs would get some negative backlash. People are getting way more tolerant over MJ it's good to see. It's easily the least harmful drug I can think of.

Then again if the company has a zero tolerance drug policy then they have every right to drop him. It wouldn't be fair to their other employees. Some places think in  those terms. It's most likely what they would have done to anyone else.

No...he didn't even do that.  What he did was get photographed taking a pull off of a BONG.

Nobody knows for sure what was in that bong...it's just an assumption it was pot...and he never admitted to smoking the evil weed (good legal advice, which he followed!).

Actually he did admit guilt and apologized for it the next day. I don't know a soul that would smoke anything but pot out of a bong. You wouldn't bong hit tobacco and if you did that would fucking kill your lungs.

He also had to go on Chinese national television and took out commercial ads apologizing there. Illegal drug use is very frowned upon by the chinese. The chinese look up to this guy like he's a god for some reason.
