Peppermint Schnapps

Does anyone like this type of alcohol? 100 proof, taste like candy canes or mint I hear. Im thinking of buying it, what are your thoughts on this issue of Peppermint Schnapps brand

I can handle a sip or two, but it's a roundhouse kick to the toungue haha. I can't taste vodka anymore though. It's funny when my friends take a sip of my drink only to realize it's about 50% everclear, and I have no idea how strong I poured it.

straight whiskey for me now, normally with a chaser though, I like liquor that actually has a good taste to it.  I chase cheap liquor, which is normally what I have, but I love a good, expensive plain scotch.
