What was your first alcoholic drink?

I remember I was VERY young. I was probably in 5th grade or lower when I was at my Nanny's house (I called my dad's mom nanny). My dad's brother still had a room there. On top of his dresser was a full bottle of Peppermint Schnapp's. I can still remember how harsh it was going down, yet how easy it was to keep down.


After that first major hangover, however (Seagram's V.O.), began the era when I couldn't stomach any liquor without it either being mixed first or being chased with something strong.


I learned too that beer is an aquired taste. Fresh out of high school I had to beer bong it all but now i prefer to sip on beers, as do my friends. What were all your experiences like?

Great White wine, it was like the really cheap stuff. You'd get a litre for ten bucks. Well, my dad used to slip me beer drinks when I was a kid, heh.

I was in West Chester PA once participating in a wine race.  Needless to say our team won, and I was the drunkest I'd ever been in my entire life.  I woke up in my car with my hat (my icon) in the back seat along with my keys, and when I woke up I completely forgot to look for my friend and drive her home.  She apparently crashed at some dude's nearby apartment so there's no way I could have found her anyway  but I still felt bad :lol:.

A glass of jew wine, every Friday since I was six.
Other than that, I think my dad let me sip a beer at some point.

Other than beer? Rum and coke.

First thing I got drunk off of was beer and mikes.

Now my drink of choice is scotch on the rocks... How far I've come :P

i dont remember my first alcoholic drink...that was many beers ago.


i do remember the first time i got sick from drinking. I was by myself testing my limits with screwdrivers. i still, 4 years later, will not drink one even if it's free. i was dumb when i was inexperienced.

First time i got drunk was when my grandpa gave me a fosters while my mom was in the bathroom. Ive had wine and shit like that but never got drunk so i feel fosters popped my alc cherry

Beer and wine from the parents.

First time I got drunk was a party my older step sister had. They had a fun game of "give the kid more Bacardi." Puked up Strawberry Bacardi smoothie all over my bed.

it was either a glass of wine at Thanksgiving (something my step-father did for us every year) or possibly one on my mother's wine coolers that my brother got for me one night when he decided to raid the beer fridge

in either case though - I was like six at the time  :smile2:

in my defense though - I was only drinking the occassional 'sneak' until I was like fifteen

The first time I got drunk is a completely different story than the first time I drank.
I was probably about 15 or 16 at the time, and a friend of mine had his family's house to himself for the weekend so he decided to throw a party.
I got my mom to buy me a Micky of tequila, and ended up drinking almost the whole thing.
I don't remember much of the night, except at some point I woke up on the floor of the living room holding hands with some chick I didn't know, who was also passed out.

I was young, maybe 10, and my dad gave me a sip of whiskey, scotch, or something equally as harsh.  Tried to scare from alcohol or something, needless to say, it didn't work.

First time I got drunk was with Budweiser, my bro, and the ex I mentioned earlier, when I was 15 or 16.  This was my families vacation.  My bro gave us like four or somethin and we took off afterhours to the lazy river at our resort/hotel.  Ended up swimmin around naked, jumping off stuff I shouldn't have, and getting head in the room right before my bro and lil sis came in to sleep.:thumbup:
