Cacti ID's and a few other things
    #9768854 -

A friend who is moving away gave me two Cacti the other day, can someone please help me ID them?

Here is a wild flower seed, im not sure what Genus/Species but it looks cool so far  its growing with an ivy of sum sorts.

The seedling emerging is a heavenly blue MG, ive grown sum cool ivy/Hevenly blue MG combos in the past so i figured id give it another go...

WORM POOP, FTW  :awesome:.....

Im not sure about this ivy, anybody know what type it might be? I took it from someone who had badly abused it and gave it a new home, it grows incredibly fast

First picture is a Mammillaria cactus, but I'm not sure what type. Not sure on the second, but it's cool as hell. The wild flower seed is a morning glory. The seedling emerging doesn't look like a morning glory seedling, but I'll have to see it again in a few days to be sure. The last pics are an Ivy plant, nice plants:thumbup:

i didnt think that "wildflower" was a morning glory, ive never seen them that young before.

but the seed didnt look like a morning glory seed when i planted it.

the other seedling that is emerging is a MG for sure, i planted it myself, im pretty sure its a heavenly blue.

if anybody is interested that worm poop fert is awesome, it has a low N-P-K ration so its good for seedlings and the company that makes it uses recycled soda bottles for most of their products and recycling is always good.;)

a question about the cacti, i had to replant them in sum larger pots cuz they were root bound.

i used sum miracle grow cacti soil, ive read you have to let the soil dry out completely between waterings...that is correct right or do i have to wait longer?

im have never grown any type of cacti, im more of a leaf man myself:grin:

That is correct bro. And don't water it for a few days after transplanting in case the roots are damaged.

i think the second cactus is stenocereus of some sort, perhaps s. pruinosis.

i had 2 that were identical, but the cold got them this winter.
