I HAVE to STOP

Serious replies only please.

I've been taking a new antidepressant, but I believe I'm bipolar/ADD (doctor doesn't know shit. Small town. been sued twice). Lexapro 10mg for 2 weeks now.

In that time, my attendance at school has dropped significantly and for the first time in my life, I'm having unprotected sex. A lot of it.

I have a new girlfriend and she says she doesn't want to, but I know she does so if I try to pull her pants down she doesn't resist. She never physically resists just says no.

She likes me more than I like her I think. I don't feel like I'm falling for her but I tell her I am because I know she is.

I think I actually want to have a kid. I would be a great father and I need the responsibility.

I've been seriously thinking about suicide, or at least getting the fuck out of here.




I think I need to go see a new doctor.

You're a completely retarded fuckwit if you honestly believe that the drug is responsible for you having unprotected sex. Does the bottle of lexapro throw out your condoms?

As to the doc, he's gonna have a hard time prescribing effectively if you're not open with him. If you think you're ADD/bipolar, how does he not know about it? :confused:

And you need to get a fucking grip and learn to act like an adult.  A pill may not give you what you're looking for, so try to use your fucking brains and be responsible in the meantime.

If I do fail at both of those, how would I "grow up" or become an adult? What if I honestly don't know how to be responsible?

Anti deppresants are motivational. They will motivate your wants. You have been on the pills for 2 weeks and you are just realizing who you actually are. Nothing like motivation a guy who wants to kill himself right? These types of pills take up to 6 weeks to become fully operational. If you actually knew anything about what you were taking, you would know that these thoughts would follow after consumption of the pills. It also says to contact your doctor or 911 should the problem become too much.

You should tell your doctor if you have any of these prior to taking the pills:

Bipolar disorder or a family history of bipolar disorder (manic-depression)
A history of suicide attempts or suicidal thoughts
A recent history of a heart attack (or if you have unstable heart disease)
Diabetes
Seizures or epilepsy
Liver disease, including liver failure or cirrhosis
Any allergies, including allergies to food, dyes, or preservatives.


As for your doctor being sued, you sound like you live in the south in fat country. Anyone who sues a clinic doctor is a fucking moron.
