I think they leave that 3% as a caution measurement for cases of exception. It's the same with condoms from what I know. :shrug:

My wife has 2 friends that are birth control babies. I thought it was like 99.7% or something like that but when you put that up against 306 million people isn't that 3 out of ever 1000 get pregnant on BC. I would be more worried about catching someone cuz if she likes it when you blow in her she probably liked it when everyone else did too. Obviously you know her. Herpes always scared me more than AIDS....too late now anyway , right? so ya might as well keep hitting it. Math is a bit flawed here.

If a method of birth control is 99.7% effective, that means it will prevent pregnancy 997 times out of 1000. That means there are 3 instances when the woman can possibly get pregnant. Depending on the time of the cycle, a woman only has a 0-10 percent chance of getting pregnant with NO birth control whatsoever. So the chances are pretty damn slim. This assumes the man and woman are both fertile.

OP, I think you're good to go, but there is no method that is 100% effective except vasectomy or tube-tying.

You can never trust a chick anyway, as soon as she decides she wants a little stinkin baby she will stop taking them without telling you.

I don't trust women and their birth control regimens. I've had them say, "I'm on the Pill" and later I found out that they were forgetting to take them half of the time. I did the shot B.C. for a few years. It was kinda cool and kinda creepy. I didn't get my period the whole time...totally weird. But it's kinda cool that you don't have to remember to take a pill everyday, and we know girls aren't the best at this.

On the downside, I found my cunt to be less lubricated. So make sure you have lots of lube.
