just checked them, its been only about 5 min...the jars are soaked...only the outside though...i got the tinfoil of nice and tight.....

how do you check jars in the middle of pressure cooking?? it does have to be ON to sterilize....

well mine isnt really a pressure cooker...its a big pot....with a lid......

You only need about a inch and a half of water up on the sides of the jars...

Water on top of them isint the best hting, but, i guess if you have your foil and tape secure you'll be ok :smile:

no, i have then sitting on a rack, so they arent even in the water, and theres about an inch of water....so the waters been dripping from the lid onto the jars....
