That's so weird I was going to post a thread on this earlier today but then I had to go. Because I used to use Safari but I switched to Firefox and I am having a hard time deciding which one I like betteR! :potleaf:

I really prefer Firefox, but I use WindowBlinds (a skinning program) and it fucks up my bookmarks, so I use Chrome. No major gripes about Chrome really, but I miss my Firefox plugins.

Thats funny, because I always hated Safari haha. Firefox is the first thing I download when I sit down on a Mac.

I agree, firefox is the same as any browser.  Fuck, the first time you start it after installing it asks you if you want to import your bookmarks from IE.  After that it is basically IE but more secure and faster.  After you realize that it is just a web browser you realize it has limitless add-ons. 

I have a spell checker, a dictionary, a wetherman, a media player, and then some all round up in a single program, firefox.  IE steals features for itself from firefox for each release while mozila focuses on security and speed for each release, while third parties focus on features.

I use firefox but its slow on start up, maybe too many add-ons.

Yeah I can't stand Safari. I hate the way the refresh button is the same as the stop button.

I don't think I'll ever be able to use another browser after setting up Firefox with all my addons - every time I wish I could do something, there's an addon that lets me do it. I figure, I spend 90% of my computer time browsing the internet, I may as well make it comfortable :laugh:

i use chrome because i like it, but it sucks. Lots of problems, just, when they get it right it will be the best.

lol how can you say that when you use IE?? 

firefox forever.  i don't see how anyone uses anything different.  hell my parents aren't very computer literate but they still know firefox > IE.

Compared to IE, Firefox takes longer to load initially, the interface takes up more space, it uses more resources, and is less responsive with shit loads of tabs and videos open.


I guess some people are incapable of being impartial when it's the big bad MS in question.

I was sold on Firefox when they introduced tabbed browsing.

However, I have been meaning to take a look at Chrome. I'll probably wait a while until google irons out the major problems.

Like i said, there's some major problems. I still have to rotate to an old browser to view some content :frown:

But chrome is WAyyyyy faster than any other browser, + with the start page giving you 9 most viewed sites it makes it faster to interface with. You dont need to use the keyboard to get to your top 9.

Sure you have to remember your fetish porn sites will appear there to, but the incognito function is solid as hell. ya'll should at least try it for a while.
