Seems that most people want to change the world to suit themselves, instead of the other way around.

What the...

I thought this post was about someone starting a revolution, but it quickly got pinned into a corner.

When I hear the word revolution, I think of violent upheavals of the masses resulting from poor conditions. While there will always be someone living in poor conditions, but as long as its the minority, nothing's going to happen.

However, if by revolution you simply mean social change, then I am engaged in a revolution right now. I have been, and will continue to push for the medicinal use of psilocybin. The internet has made it possible to share stories that television channels were afraid to. The strict ban on running studies is starting to loosen, and the results are having a positive effect. I've broached the topic at the University I attend, and it was extremely well received. We read the study as a group, discussed the implications, and had a very engaging conversation.

It doesn't require everyone to take up arms in order for change to happen. As someone else already pointed out, simply living your life according to your beliefs will lead to all the revolutions that ever will be and need to be. Fate pushed me towards psilocybin, and then my own innate drives kept me going with it. Motivation can't be forced, it is resultant. A government that starves its people will result in a revolution because people have external motivations to fight for. If the external motivations aren't there, then it becomes internal motives that carry through.

Given what I just typed, what kind of revolution are you looking for?
Can we control nature, is that your angle?
You asked why someone hasn't started a revolution, and then switched to nature being the revolutionary force.
If you could clarify for me what exactly the goal/reason for this revolution is, it might go a long ways towards better communication.

If you're talking about mental revolution, I'm with you every step of the way.  Revolution usually means seizing power from other people by force.

I would even go as far as to say 'militant revolution' in that case also though.

The problems are: we are outgunned, happy, and we would need a bunch of people going at once rather then little groups not knowing they are not allone, so it's nead to start as an organization.

Why Tajikstan, why not talk about most of Africa(Somalia anyone?), parts of Mexico, alot of South America, and Kentucky?
Most of the world is in poverty really.

I mean that based on the political opinions expressed around here, I wouldn't trust the majority of people here to run a PTA meeting, let alone a country.

No sense of humor, or concept of mindless banter I take it?
You know Sierra Leone is growing, and has no warning under it on lonelyplanet.com http://www.lonelyplanet.com/sierra-leone

Still low humin development index rating it says, though.
