I could pick up on all your flawed reasonings, but let me try just one.
Paedophilia is a sexual preference. According to you, that sexual preference has nothing to do with character. I disagree. Since character is moral excellence, even if paedophilia was genetically driven--it's not by the way--it would still be immoral because of the damage it does to innocent children.
The OP seems to think all homosexuals are attention whores. That is also flawed reasoning. If a homosexual were quiet, i.e. in the closet, he wouldn't be attention seeking. Moreover, if he were, how would you know he was a homosexual? Instead, what might be said, is that more homosexuals are attention seekers than straights. Then again, how could we know this?
I have a major problem with anyone who wants to share their sexual preferences, straight or gay. I think there is something wrong with that person.
"Hi, I'm John. I really like to fuck teenage girls up the ass."
Me:
The story that is seldom told is how most homosexuals are initiated into the "club." It's ugly. If you want a bird's eye view watch the movie Running with Scissors.
I agree with the OP's opinion on the word "homophobe." The Greek roots do not indicate what aversion to homosexuality means, except, perhaps, in the twisted minds of some. The dictionary is often weighted towards one side. Misogyny means hating women. Where is the word for men-haters? There isn't one.
I realize from your posts it will be impossible to get you to see reason. Nevertheless, those with different opinions have a right to express them as well.
