Gay People
    #9485333 -

From Physical and Mental board:

"As a gay male, out of college with a religious family from the deep south it is often a struggle to accept myself for who I am.

IMMEDIATELY from the womb I was bombarded with homophobia. Whether it was my family making fun of "fags" on TV or even in real life, or threatening me with molestation from Michael Jackson, or displeasure when I was doing something girly or looking up to women instead of men. Today it's still a challenge seeing how most of the world is still stuck in thinking that anyone that isn't completely attracted to the opposite sex is somehow inferior. Even most of the portion of people who accept sexually queer individuals will have hidden feelings, get choked up on the subject, or deny having a real friendship with them. It's sick. Because of this, I often have a lot of trouble going through my days.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a very different person, and do my own thing regardless of what most people say. I do what I want and can see that most barriers that we have are just a bunch of crap. But when it comes to being gay I tighten right up. My demeanor is really feminine also, and feel that people, animals, and even inanimate objects make fun of me for it. It's crazy, but I can't get comfortable with just being who I am. I will tear myself apart and kick myself when I'm down to protect myself from the imaginary insults that everyone else is ready to give me. I can ignore everything else that makes me different, because we all are different and there's nothing wrong with that. But this aspect is just too deeply rooted to let go, easily.

How can I heal this? "

Stop being such a homosexual!

I can't stand homosexual people.  I hate how it's being more and more accepted like it's normal. It is NOT normal to be a homosexual.

I don't go around on a hate rampage, but definetely choose to avoid them when I can.

I can't stand how they prance around with their homosexual parades and functions, just trying to yell to the world that they are an abomination of nature.  Attention seeking whores is the bottom line here.

And stop calling yourself "gay", "happy" or "different"...you are a HOMOSEXUAL!

Why did you post this anonymously when there is a thread addressing it already? It makes you look like a coward.

where is such thread?

the one I posted?  no flaming on that board, which is more than fair enough.

Again, not a hater, just expressing my opinion.

If a homosexual person, or any person for that matter, ask me in person what I think, I have no problem telling.

So you admit that you are flaming rather than presenting an intelligent opinion?

Nope, but admit it would be considered flaming.

Why does a homosexual person not bother you?  Give "intelligent" and cohesive statements to back your opinion.

What someone else does with other consenting adults is not my business. I judge people by their character not by their sexual preference.

Explain how sexual preference is not intertwined with ones character?  Especially an attention seeking homsexual's behaviour?

I also love the retard who decided to coin the word "homophobia". haha  Like it's related to being scared to spiders or closed spaces.

The fact that I don't accept homosexuals, regardless how much I'm bombarded by the fact that they are indeed homosexuals and proud of it, doesn't make me have some "disease" or "ailment".

Fuck homosexuals and the dick they rode in on

I think your question is the perfect example of why your point of view is flawed. Attention seeking is not "homosexual behaviour", people of all sexual orientations behave in this way. Its not sexuality, its a part of their character.

haha huh?  You understand why I'm laughing right?

Not all people are attention seeking whores.

Why is it that all homosexual people I have met are attention seeking whores?  Why do they flaunt being a homosexual?  It's like it's cool to be a homosexual nowadays.  And if a person isn't down with it, they have an ailment called "homophobia"

I think your laughing because you are unable to to rationally deduce what I'm saying. Ill try a different tact. Attention seeking is found within the character of both straight people and homosexuals. Therefore it is not related to homosexuality as much as it is related to humans in general. Do you understand?

Do you always dodge questions?

Why is it that all homosexual people I have met are attention seeking WHORES(being an attention seeking whore would mean extreme amounts)?

How is sexuality not intertwined with one's character?  If I am to judge one's character I am also judging their sexuality and when I'm judging one's sexuality, I'm also judging their character.  The two ARE intertwined.  If you disagree, how come?
