Mindfuck

I find that some people enjoy the mindfuck from psychedelics, but I have to say that I fucking hate it.  I enjoy trips where there is ego loss, closed eye trips that are lucid dreams, etc.  But I hate mindfuck, I've been at the end of a 20 hour trip when it finally kicks in and I'm not too proud to admit that I've cried because I could no longer hold onto a single thought for more than a few seconds.

At that point, I no longer feel that I'm learning, or benefiting from the trip.  It's just a chaotic mess that I can't even start to grasp.

I'm with you man..

Mind fucks are the worst. Or when you can't concentrate...you try to form a thought and you almost catch yourself drooling.

Psychedelics are for pioneering the mind and traveling. Not to feel like you just cooked a dime size hole in your brain meat.

I dunno "mind fucks" can be pretty amazing as long as you flow with it. But yeah last trip I was sorta fighting it at the hard come up of a mushroom trip cuz the nausea was pretty fucking bad (throwin up and then swallowing it down somehow sucks)... but anyway, I did my best to keep it together, but a little while later I started sobbing while smoking a few bowls with friends, I woulda probably been more emotional if I was by myself... Anyway, its been my experience that there is something more emotional about mushrooms for me compared to LSD, but thats my experience :wink:

For me, LSD is the true mindfuck.

Paranoia x100, every trip becomes a nightmare. I walk down the street, and everybody is staring at me and shifting their eyes! I pretend not to notice, but its real freaky.

Mushrooms are the way. Never dosing cid again

low dose benzo at the beginning and medium-high dose at the end of an acid trip makes for a great easy-going time

*beer does wonders for mind fuck as well

Perhaps, but probably for low doses of acid only. But then again I have never tried a benzo at the start, maybe it just helps you have a easy mind when you first start to feel it, I just think one would have to eat a lot of benzos (or maybe no amount would work) to help fight off a strong dose of acid. Right?

Exactly what I'm talking about.  I normally don't get it from mushies, but my last trip was all mindfuck, though not bad.  I just laid in bed and what happened, happened.  I didn't feel satisfied though because the majority was too conjumbled to understand or remember.

Gravy for me on cid.  Just gorgeous...things flow, buzz of energey...it's amazing.

That happens to me if I smoke during the trip. Have you tried not smoking?

some people (me included) have overwhelming anxiety that, at least in my experience, leads to intense nausea and panicking. 

If you take a short-acting benzo like ativan or xanax at a low dose before you take your acid, the anxiety of the come up will be non-existent, and the benzo will wear off by the peak.

If you are lucky enough to have low anxiety levels you should feel lucky, but not everyone is the same.

Not really, I think that I could quell most psychedelics with benzos, I might still trip but I'll get drowzy and not remember what happened afterwards.  It just seems like it all goes away, like it never happened.

I understand, but the fact of the matter is that benzodiazepines will significantly reduce the intensity of the effects of LSD.

that's why it's important to make sure you dose the short-acting benzos early enough before you dose the acid so as they won't effect the acid peak

ive used this method multiple times in the past with mushrooms and acid and all of my best trips have been through this method.

If I don't have benzos before my trip, it is worthless to me because I will (on mushrooms) probably throw up before the 30min mark, and have a horrible time after that (even though i wasnt getting full effects due to purging early)

the best visuals and most profound trip I ever had on mushrooms was with 1mg of lorazepam before dosing
