automated terrariums

If some one wanted to set up an automated terrarium how do you go about this.
links would be fine as long as they have a decent outline and you could figure out the rest along the way.
I have an idea of how to provide constant humidty with perilite or humidfiers and cutting out parts of the terrarium to feed a line running from the humidifier to the inside of the terrarium.

but how do you provide automated air exchange? fans? what kind? where do you go to get them? what are they called? how much? what do you ask for? what do you do once you get them?

how do you set up a completely automated set up?
