...then, why don't people smoke Psychotria?
I thought that Banisteriopsis is the MAOI, which potentiates the Psychotria.

It is too weak for any kind of effects. Too low concentrations.

dmt is smokable, but its needs to be extracted for the reason felix says.

I have read that swallowed DMT is broken down by MAO in the gut.
Does smoking DMT containing foliage and an MAOI together increase it's potency?

Nice try but still, there´s not enough spice for practical use.
Some sort of extraction is required as Kada said.
But I´ve heard that rolling a joint on a caapi leave can be interesting.

combing an maoi with dmt orally is what the brew is....caapi has maoi (and apperantly is psychelelic on its own, btu i never tried it), psychotria has dmt...mix and brew adn drink is how many do it  there are many different mixes, lots of info around even many good oboks.

EDIT: mao is only if taken orally. smoked there is none and that is why so little is needed and why its so effective. MAOi is only for oral usage.

I disagree that MAOI is for oral usage. One can perfectly extract it and make a 'Vaporhuasca', as I´ve already done.
It makes a short vaped DMT trip last hours.

wow, really? got any more info on that? i thought it only inhibited stuff in the gut/intestines that broke down various chemicals....never thought it worked with smoking (blood?).

Yes it does work! I have discovered a MAOI containing Mimosa species and made Vaporhuasca with its alkaloids + DMT. One DMT trip (vaped) that would only last a few minutes will last for hours and be much deeper experience.
I´m well sure it would work with B. caapi or Harmala alkaloids, as long as they´re pure enough.

wow, very interesting. that could be quite useful seeing as smoked has much better feeling on the mid section than tea any noted differences other than duration?

Yes, it had some sort of a narcotic-euphoric feeling in place of the rather straight sensation Ayahuasca gives when on open eyes.
Which is the MAOI mimosa?
This is a secret. But I´m open to offers from the drug industry. 
It was actually a stupid thing to extract alkaloids from an unknown plant (I thought it would have tryptamines) and testing it on myself. I vaped it (a few mgs), and felt nothing. Then bored I proceeded to smoke some DMT (lol, I was young) and its effects were a bit mellowed out at first, but they had this interesting euphoria that for me is never present in Ayahuasca. And it lasted for a very nice while - around 4 hours. Where else will you see 30-50mgs of DMT last you that much? This Mimosa has so much potential.

Have already smoked that, yes from Australia. It contains jungle spice most of the times. As far as I know its not as long lasting as mine.
