Sweet acoustic guitar and percussion recording (now with file:p)

A few weeks ago I bought a new microphone and never fuly used it until yesterday
listen to the results in the attachment:D
it has an exotic or spanish feel to it (I can't decide :smirk: )

Acoustig guitar
Shakers (wood tube shaped and an plastic 'egg')
Bongo's
Djembe (single sample just the main 'kick' beat)

there was indeed something wrong with the server. try again :laugh:

The sounds were recorded with a Studio-projects B-3 microphone
is isn't as tight (timing wise) as it could be, but I had limited time and am fairly new to recording.

Nice, man. The timing is a bit off at places, but the recording still allows you to get a good feel of the music.

What scale are you playing to get the Spanish/exotic vibe?

it's just a G-major scale over an Em chord:thumbup:

I'm fairly new to recording live instruments and improvised this in an afternoon. It was a lot of fun and I should do it more often!

What small percussion instruments are worth adding to my collection?
