eric clapton is a good bet...signe and tears in heaven are some great ones. If you're into the crazy spanish guitar, then jesse cook is for you. I dont know how long you've been playing so I cant recommend something specifically within your skill level. BLACKBIRD is pretty easy I guess. Foxglove, if you can find it, is super fun to listen to. Dust in the wind...shit man, then list goes on. Tell me how long you've been playing.

I've been playing bass for 3 years I think, but guitar for like a week, so I'm not a COMPLETE guitar noob, but i'm not great, I only know like 3 chords, but I don't even know what their names are, and I hate DMB, sorry, that guy just bugs the hell out of me, I'm thinking more along the lines of Pink Floyd, and I've already leaned the first part of Stairway, but yeah, baby steps

Also, a lot of matt good songs are acoustic, but not too interresting unless you sing along. I think the perfect beginer song is time of your life by greenday. Super easy but still souds good

Try a bit of Beck from his Mutations album... some of it's pretty easy to play. Also most of the Kinks' songs are easy-ish, and the Beatles.

I don't really play too much, cept i'm kind of in a System Of A Down cover band, so I know almost everyhting by them, and I know alot of rage, abd I used to be in a band that with some fucking Tool-philes (hense Faaip De Oiad) so I used to like alot of Tool, until I came to realize the band was full of assholes, but I wouldn't be on this board right now if it weren't for them so meh.
this post was way too long for such a simple question, so to answer your question

Watermelon by Leo Kottke, or any Leo Kottke song. You wont be able to play it, but when you listen to it you'll wish that you could.

Might I suggest what is known in my home as Maynard's Meatpipe, properly known as Maynard's Dick. And yes, I am referring to a SONG.
Even though it's self-evident, MD, unlike other Tool material, is NOT in drop-D. Use standard tuning. If you have an electric player to team up with, it can come off quite well.
The AIC suggestions were a good idea. Creep is always fun to play. Started working on Yes - Mood for a Day recently, not nearly good enough for The Clap. Gallows Pole from Led Zep III is also a killer choice.
Wow, if you take those song titles I mentioned and put them together, you could write some very interesting sentences.
