If 2012 happens then I hope it's good. If it is a celestial body then we're all pretty much fucked (most likely).

The gravity would simply rock our planet and its normalcy would be completely disrupted. It would be absolutely insane.

So yes, it could be termed "magically happening" if a higher consciousness, spiritual transformation, etc., occurs to the human race.  And all the apocalypse means is to reveal, true reality about oneself and ones place in the universe I suppose.  When there is no time and illusions fade and show themselves for what they really are is my take on it.

To me and my hope I just wish more than anything that people realize their connection to each other and the earth and act accordingly.  Kind of like when i take shrooms at times when I see through the mass media, I feel connected to the earth, I can't lie and can see through the distortions created and have clarity.  It's my belief that there is no way this  system can last, it's not built to but will implode on itself.  If there is a spiritual transformation happening within people and that peaking in 2012 with the end of the Mayan calander, and people create a more evolved and enlightened society I'm all for it, whatever it looks like.  But I do think it's a long shot.

As is my understanding on the winter-solstice of 2012 the Aztec calender ends and all of human creation is supposed to turn on humanity and destroy us for the final (with 4 previous times before) for not respecting the natural world. Sounds like an Ecopocolypse to me. Not really something you want to hope for, but more or less a probibly.

The Aztec calender is as far as I know the origin of this myth, however since it's likely based on a celestial event there is possibly more variations on the "event." I frankly think the one thing that will happen for sure in 2012 is more than 1 million morons being disappointed (not meant to insult anyone here).

Exactly. So next time a hurricane destroys a town in Florida or a tsunami ravages the east coast, there'll be places for people to live while their homes are rebuilt. There's no need to hypothesise about an extraterrestrial disaster.

The factory HAS been bought by a dairy production company out of Arizona to make cheese and possibly ice cream. If someone still wants to argue that prisoners might still be held there, maybe they're forced to make cheese?  Could be, never know.:rolleyes:
