why does polyfil work for GE and FAE?

The title pretty much covers it. Polyfil jar lids are common and so is using it for FAE in a tub. why does that work? Tyvek and micropore tape are only good for GE

Actually, I think micropore works for monotubs too...

polyfill or tyvek.   

polyfill breathes considerably more than tyvek...... thats why

tyvek generally on spawning jars or l.c.

Polyfill or micropore tape wont provide fresh air exchange in a monotob. It will provide more gas exchange than required during colinisation but not FAE.

With a monotub, FAE is sacrificed in favour of keeping humidity high. You can fan out a monotub if you want.

Since its a set it and forget it thing most do fine without manually fanning out the monotub , untill they have a strain thats more intolerent of c02.

Some people will mist and fan there mobotub a few times daily, or leave an oscilating fan in the room to help FAE.

Nobody had mentioned that the product was synthetic and inert of all nutrients too. That's another reason it works.
