That was an outstanding original question PTC.

There are so many kinds of astrology - tropical, sidereal, decanic, with birth and conception anchors.
The universe is hologrammatic so anything can be made into a system of divination really.
All that makes one system better than another is resonance through self-similarity.

Individual astrology isn't nearly as important as paying attention to the present aspects of the planets and collective trends.

The real use of astrology is not to tell you which sign you are, you are all of them really.
Divination divides aspects of any system so they can be identified, balanced, and made into a coherent whole. Solve et Coagula.

I will admit, I am not very versed in Astrology....
Are there versions of Astrology that are indeed based on the time/date of conception....?   
Which ones in particular, if you know off hand....?
I do know that my Virgo sign personality description fits me like one of my own socks, where as other signs do not have that same cozy fit....

And neat quotes, some of those are new for me....
