Revamp

A poem/song I wrote:

I know that i've been out of touch
and probably don't seem like I like you very much
it seems like I'm deemed to remove myself from your scene

but I'm really apart from and a part of everything
and I'm filling my grocery cart full of dreams
still sometimes I still cry
but the when the tears fill my eyes
I don't feel the same spiteful rage
and yes, every now and then
I still check your page

I wonder how you are
and I wonder how's your head
but when I see you in person
it's like my teeth are made of lead

and I don't know what to say
and so I come off as a prick
and I even though I don't want you to remember me as a dick
if I be another way then I make myself sick
thinking about what happened and why it went so quick

but Im getting up on my own
learning to stand without a crutch
i learned so much from you
so for that
thank you very much
take care of you and such
and im not in a rush
but I cant start to feel my cheeks begin to flush

so now i'm gonna clear out
and try to shut my mouth
and try to shut my eyes
and cleanse and calm my mind

One of these days I want to see you as my friend
I'll still remember this happened, and I wont pretend
but the way you were for me
and the way that you could be
are two opposite things
that could make me more mentally
stable and able to mend my cardio
I bet this makes no sense with a lack of audio

but this is how I feel
I feel like we were real
and it fell through
because of change of appeal

and I dont regret a minute
that we both spent in it
and one day I will spin it
and your purpose could be infinite
