I don't know about all of you, but I'm so glad that Chris Cornell is making music again. Audioslave is reminiscent of early Soundgarden (which I just happen to love... :grin:). I started hearing the song Cochise on the radio a few weeks ago and before they could even tell me who it was, I knew.

eh... i love chris cornell. i loved soundgarden and i loved rage.
but it seems like chris is doing this amazing job with vocals and the guys from rage (mainly tom morello) are just being lame. the music behind the vocals is all crap, his solo's are terrible-when he tries to be melodic, it's way generic, and when he tries to be crazy like solo's in rage, it's like he doesn't care it's so bland. all the riffs are second generation rage licks. it really ruins it.
It's as if the remaining guys from rage knew aquiring cornell would keep them popular and famous, so they didn't really care what they wrote or played. it sucks...
it mainly sucks for cornell tho, because his vocals are fuckin awesome, even behind such generic shite. too bad he put down the guitar...

I have to agree with ya, I like Chris, Soundgarden, and Rage. But ulezzz, Audioslave is total comercial bull crap!  :shocked:

I was sorely disappointed when I listened to a few Audioslave songs
