What can act as a mini heater?

Well unfortunately I cant turn up heat in my house cos of my jewbag mom, plus the weather is starting to get cold here, its like 16 celsius, and im going to start cultivating really soon. My question is, what can act as a tiny heater? like i was thinking of sticking a bunch of jars and one or 2 light bulbs in a box to give off enough heat, any other ideas?

It has to be something small and compact, an aquarium heater is pretty big and needs water, preferably something no more than the size of a shoe or something...

EDIT: Ok lets clear up something here, i live overseas in the middle east, its really not easy to get caught, and if something happened, then my mother wont be held liable. Plus my dad has hookups n connections with the lebanese government.

I just dont want them to know thats it. Im just askin a question and waitin for an answer to what i asked guys...

haha nah man i love my parents, im not gonna move out just so i can grow shrooms, but u know i mean something i could fit into a drawer or something.

Im not a minor either, im 18 years old bro. Im leaving to college soon.

Yep, not to sound like we are nagging but if anything bad happened and you got caught (insert deity here forbid) your mother could be held liable.

Never grow at a parents house unless they know about it and are OK with it.

I use my cable box and stereo for 2 heat sources.  I put a box on top, and it warms things up inside it, almost too much tho.  I had to put t-shirts under the box, and in the box, to absorbs some excess heat - and now the boxes stay at ~78

hey thanks for the concern bro, but just to clear up something, i live over in the middle east, and the laws are all different, so my mom wouldn't be held liable, only i would get affected, possibly tortured for more information on other people that do illegal things (yes it happened once, my friend got caught and he was tortured until he let out 25 different names of people that smoked marijuana), anyways my dad has hookups with the lebanese government so my dad could make a few phone calls and i would be out n clear.

Thats why i wanna grow where i am while i can since i have many advantages, im leaving next year to the states for college.

what does living withyou mom have anything to do with it? hes asking about rasing his temps. i live in an apartment and i have no controll over the heat the thermostat is in the other apartment.
you could do a TIT with a fishtank heater like an incubator should work great.

thats a good idea, using electornics that run warm for an incubator:cool:

Aquarium heater too big? I think you may be mistaken, or have only seen big ones.
For my incubator I use a small aquarium heater in an old gallon milk container full of water. It works well and dosent take up too much space. Go to a cheap pet shop or big chain department store, they make some small aquarium heaters that are perfect for this hobbie.
For a fruiting chamber a dub tub design would work well using the same aquarium heaters.

Thanks, also read about my situation, I live in the middle east, my mom wouldn't be affected by my decisions, plus my dad has connections with the lebanese government, so ill be fine according to the law, but i still would rather go to jail after what my parents would do to me if they found out I grew shrooms.

tub in tub get two rubbermaid tubs of the same size and stack them inside each other and when you do that theres a few inches of space at the bottom in between them. fill that with some water enough to submerge a fishtank heater and bamyou have total control over your temps. most people use it as an incubator, but you can use it for a fruiting chamber. theres instructions for making this on the sit im lazy and about to go to work or id link you. use the search function

i Know what you mean about the fish tank heater can be a pain to have all that water sloshing about and they are quite big.

it a bit expensive but worth it, adn it might be worth seeking out a reptile shop local to you, save on postage costs from ebay. i had a look on the interweb and found out that there was one round the corner from me that i had just been walking straight past.
