when you're making egg nog, and it starts to turn custard like, at what point do you stop?
    #9247839 -

Like, when it starts to get thick you stop, or when the first chunks start to appear?

The gay recipe only said stop when it starts to resemble custard.

I don't understand your question.

What part of the recipe are you having trouble with?

Alright I can't locate my recipe right now, which is different, but the clumping should be normal if you followed your steps correctly...I know mine does. Whenever you want a glass, scoop it out with a ladle and try to get one of those clumps in there.

For future reference, it's better to use about 3 parts bourbon, and 1 part rum for the alcohol.

If I can dig up my recipe, i'll give it to you, which is much better.
