I just wonder about why these old civilizations like mayans, sumerians, and such decided to build everlasting monuments pointing to a special moment in time. Moment in time that can only be measured by intense observation of nature, the orbits of earth and all the astrological explanations, that "all translated" culminate in december 21 of 2012.

The message post posted to humanity in that date, in all of these ancient monuments and inscriptions, about how human beings should turn themselves to a more natural way of living, and all alerts about the earth coming to "it's own destruction" because of not living by these natural ways just get me open mouth thinking about the actual case of humanity and it's relation with earth, nature. How humanity is indeed out of coordination with the earth nature. Lost in a period of time! (error of time)

Now, what we could do about it ? I don't know really. If you understand the idea behind the "myth", i think the best thing you can do is pass the message forward. We must indeed care for our mother living planet earth besides all. Humanity is indeed out of shape with nature. I don't know... it's a "think about it", the message behind the 2012 "myth" has something big to show ourselves.

Furthermore, i return to the link i showed above about the 2012 prophecy. My opinion ? Just take your time to read it.

It's infinitely entertaining to see what people will predict for the future.

99.9999999999% of the time they wind up wrong, but they still seem to find some way to justify their stupidity.

Joseph Campbell once stated that the modern world has no myths.  We are hopelessly lost in a sea of technology in which we have no idea how to integrate personally and philosophically and spiritually.

The 2012 myth is a half-assed attempt in creating a new one.  But unfortunately it's not our civilization's myth, it's not our world's myth, it's the myth of a people long dead and it doesn't apply to us.

Same could be said for the bible.  It's the ramblings and musings of a group of people induced into psychosis by the desert winds and constant sands in the vagina.  It's OUTDATED.  It's time for something new.  2012 is not new.
