no their are not all mushroom seem to be gone to next year , but psilocybe still fruiting ,managing to survive , last swing , the new record in my history of picking psilocybe.  November there still fruiting a couple and new find ,  yes  iam so excited, again all find should be thread as potentially new species, but they  look like the ones from villarealae area , and i found one that look like caerulescens or villarealae ,and some really tiny psilocybe ,sometimes i wish to be there  with more people  that understand mushrooms, this part of the sierra are extremely amazing ..i guess i never realize what there still to discover in jalisco ..for example i visit the west side of the coast where , many sierra are there still intact, to get there you have to past so beautiful scenery , so this part of Mexico have not change so much  since the Pleistocene age, long long time ago the forest of the USA and Canada extend to Mexico , the glacial age make this forest to go back and fort , still to give credit of what happened to those days , we still in Mexico have this relict forest, of what was long time ago one hole nation is interesting to notice this same type of growing only extend to Nicaragua  and no further, is in Nicaragua  that we found the souther range of liquidambar and pines, and in Mexico we found the souther range of the more temperate species that could not make it to Nicaragua , like maple, birch, POPULUS, ALL THOSE THE ONES THAT COME TO MY MIND right now.

and guess what  i handle a maple leave , but i have no picture of the actual site , you gonna love and hate me  i know ....well , i always see your forest (north forest) AS BEAUTIFUL places , i guess  psilocybe are just sleep in your areas waiting to be awake, their are already on the conquer, well i always dreams about those ages in a romantic ways of the past , i see my self in the era , where those big Sequoya get here  almost next to my house in la primavera, i see those big ferns and those tall trees, i see no men only animals , i see a perfect  world  i don't know  why ...........almost like heaven will be for me and then i picture some creatures in the forest floor half animal half plant, was early in this dates that the lineage of the psilocybe was created, i think some of the species of Mexico are pretty old , really don't know, i just fell it, for example in zapotecorum , caerulescen seem more knew linage for me , in this early dates the speciation Begin , the dung lover prefer herbivores, the wood lover Begin and still are developing a strong relations with a host tree even they don't parasite one, they depend on some kind of wood sometimes and habitat temperature, that after all is created by the flora, was in those date that mushrooms could have grow from Georgia  to Oaxaca, from Canada, USA, Mexico and all through Nicaragua some of the same species , to visit for me  this forest , put the idea of why we have weillii and villarealae , those are the survivors , of was once a hole forest , those are the missing link , i bet DNA will tell something about this ,
what you want to see , the new , or the old find  edibles or entheogens  , is up to you .......

the white death



the one eye ....

maybe tricholoma

cantharellus maybe cibarius smell like peach ,+

cortinarius


psilocybe villarealae the only 2 in one location

moldy psilocybe

cateropillar i count easy 30 of this

Beautiful! I love seeing pictures of bugs. Lately, I've been trying to photograph spiders, it's quite a challenge!

THAT`S WHY I ALWAYS FALLOW TRAFFIC SINGS, I REMEMBER WE FOUND A COW PIE WITH A PSILOCYBE CUBENSIS ALMOST IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD :grin: OH DO I HAVE THE CUBE IN MY HAND  LOOK SO CAN`T REMEMBER FOR SURE..

MEXICO IS AMAZING ALL IS WRITE IN A METAPHORICAL LANGUAGE , AND ONLY THE AWAKE MINDS CAN UNDERSTAND ,
THE CODE IS IN EVERYTHING ............... THE ROAD ADD THE DESTRUCTION ,THE MIND THE HOPE AND THE BODY MATERIALIZED IT SELF .

SOMETIMES WE WALK FOR A LONG TIME JUST TO GO BACK AND FOUND THEN BY THE SIDE OF THE ........FALLOW THE CODE

MANY TIMES THIS HAD HAPPENED THEY CALL YOU , THEY  HIDE  WHERE THEY CAN SEE YOU  BUT MOST OF THE TIME YOU CAN`T SEE THEN , THEY LOOK FOR THE DIFFICULT AREAS , THEY GROW WHERE NO OTHER MUSHROOMS GROW , ONLY FEW, THEY PREFER TO BE ALONE, THEY KNOW THEIR ARE DIFFERENT , AND ALWAYS KNOW THEIR HOPE IS IN HUMANDS , THEY LIKE TO WATCH  US, TO BE CLOSE TO US, THEY DEPEND ON US TO SURVIVE, AS IN USA IN MEXICO HUMAND INTERVENTION IS AFFECTING THE DISTRIBUTION AND EXPANSION OF THE PSILOCYBE, NOW I CAN  CLEARLY SEE IT, NOW I CAN FIND THEN  HOW GOOD IS TO SAY THAT, I CAN FIND THEN , TO SAID THAT IS THE MAXIMUN  IN MY OPINION . UNO CON EL HONGO THAT THE GOAL , TOTAL SYMBIOSIS

psilocybe ? from where alan find then last year , this psilocybe are rare they always come in the last of the rainy season .


this is in the coodispora section and the last ones where in zapotecorum section.
i found this one in a new spot maybe villarealae.
i visit  a new place ,

the last hypomyces i find

are we in Mexico sometimes is hard to know
i guess is a female deer ...:grin: just kidding
