we where in the location of villareallii and we found this colourful boletus

helvella lacunosa

a unusual  cluster of boletus , was too far too  go check in the vertical wall.

villareallii note the hygroscopic changes of colors

then we headed to  zapotecorum house , we arrive at night in the morning i found  the active inocybe

then the great zapotecorum.

beautiful pics!

do you know what the liberty-cap looking mushroom is, second from the bottom? it's obviously not a liberty cap, but it looks like it should be edible.

hello , well wowitch17 i have not try yet the mutant
like this
but Alan eat all mushrooms . and i mean all of the mushrooms to taste then so i was curious and taste a bit, they also exhibit a strong blue-black reaction the taste is farinaceous, not like radish farinaceous taste of zapotecorum,
i have not try yet the supposed laurae that it may be another specie not laurae , i have not try yet the ones Alan found and i have not good pictures of then Alan do have the best pictures i run out battery's ,
i have try villarrealli 3locations , 1 locations still need to be test
i have try zapotecorum from jalisco and colima with airdog
i have try the caerulences of jalisco and colima
the Mexicana for many location
the cubensis
the Tigritos aka unknown copelandia sp.
copelandia cyan
panaeolus of many species dung lover
panaeolus subb
i wanna try the inocybe next time now i fell like after 4 years of found it i have found vital information that sustain the presence of psilocybin in this specie.

> but Alan eat all mushrooms . and i mean all of the mushrooms to taste

Yes, every last one. And most of the plants I saw too.

> they also exhibit a strong blue-black reaction

The bluing reaction was the strongest I have ever seen from any mushroom, psilocybin or bolete. It was literally a deep cobalt blue within one second of slicing open the cap. I will post some pictures today or tomorrow.

> the taste is farinaceous, not like radish farinaceous taste of zapotecorum,

I forgot to do a side by side taste test.

> laurae that it may be another specie not laurae

I compared workman's composite photo to the P. angustipleurocystidiata Guzman's psilocybe suppliment, I agree with him that it is P. angustipleurocystidiata. (http://www.sporeworksgallery.com/Section-Zapotecorum/Laurae_not vs http://www.dmt-nexus.com/doc/Psilocybe.pdf)

> Alan do have the best pictures i run out battery's

All the good pictures will get posted.

> i wanna try the inocybe next time now i fell like after 4 years of found it i have found vital information that sustain the presence of psilocybin in this specie.

I agree that it is probably active and the larger species sure looks like Inocybe calamistrata. I'll get back to you soon with the results of the microscopic analysis.

The only toxin I know of in Inocybe is muscarine, so if you start slow and watch for extra sweating, you should be ok. But Inocybe's almost never get eaten so its hard to say for sure. The bases of those were incredibly blue considering how dark the stem on those mushrooms are.

I will say that you have given to the shroomery more great info with super pictures than just about anyone has! Does your season ever end down in Mexico? I guess if it does, then it is time to switch over to Peyote or the San Pedro cactus. I have tried the San Pedro, but not the Peyote and would love to. If you have tried it, do you find it as spiritual as the mushrooms? Peace be with you!

well , thank you . yes :cryariver: season is ending around here
so i will give you guys a bit for  a while, yeah  we say here rainy season is over let´s go to the desert.......
i have tried then both  , lophophora williansi change the effect depending on the season , the nutrients on soil, and  the amount of water they have, so the trip change a lot, so far i have no get to the heaven of peyote , but have give me his hand many times  in my road, my history with this cactus, is very sacred,i do have to speak to him so he appear to me  i do have to cry to see it, all my hunting was  a trip i was in the dessert for the first time in my life , alone , with no friend  they have gone a while, they became tired of looking at me i want to be alone, imagine the security i have all alone in the middle of the dessert  with a bag  full of peyote button's, the night was falling , i fell  no fear, i eat my first button's, and immediate reaction that strike my Brain was felt, that sour taste ,in those days a couldn´t  eat peyote by chewing , now is  the most enjoyable felling even that is still strong, taste, if you heart is pure  you will fell no bad taste i guess  my heart was full of shit at that time, i still remember that day, why did i do that? stay  alone in the desert , i go back to the town my friend  where , remember it was my first time in the desert in the middle of the night.  no light , just  the light of the peyote, it was  2 hours walk to the town i did not get lost no even a meter, i still remember that day as the spirit of peyote was with me all the time, for me peyote mean medicine, mean the one is can cure all , the old man , the power, san Pedro is more visual for me that  peyote,  my best peyote trip are in combination with Mao inhibitors ,peyohuasca , that my favorite combination , with mao´s , peyote for me is very spiritual, but can´t say  i have see the thing mushrooms have show me  i guess their can be compare to  much are too different , for my point of view, but  all are teachers and magical ones,  i have also try lophophora difussa  did no like the effect is very drowsy ,the best lophophora grow in the Valle of san luis potosi ,the  other types of Texas and many other part of Mexico are not that good , that what the Indians say  ,and many people comment, i guess is true  i have try from Monterrey ,zacatecas, queretaro , but the ones from san luis postosi is the best,i don´t call myself  cactu for coincidence ..
astrophytum sp.
lophophora diffussa

lophophora williansii

all my best vibration
