Caught the boys last night at NJPAC.  Setlist was fire...

I: Jam > Truckin > Brown-Eyed Women, Tomorrow Never Knows > Jus' Like Mama Said > Cold Rain and Snow, Bury Me Standing > Silvio > Tequila > Silvio > Greatest Story Ever Told > Scarlet Begonias
II: Me and Bobby McGee@4, Victim or the Crime@ > She Says > Liberty > Franklin's Tower > Stuff > Knockin on Heaven's Door > Sugar Magnolia
E: Brokedown Palace

Really jammin Truckin' into high-energy Brown Eyed Women.  Tommorow Never Knows was a majestic and trippy cover and a really good Cold Rain & Snow.  Greatest Story ever Told into Scarlet was sucha good closer to the first set and left everyone feeling good.

Had an acoustic Me and Bobby McGee and Victim or the Crime which were both enjoyable but not stand out for me.  Franklins Tower was really cookin and had some supremely epic moments.  Knockin on Heaven's Door was all right but the transition into Sugar Mags was beautiful and that was a real high energy closer.  Encored with Brokedown Palace that left people in tears.

Very enjoyable night overall with a couple bud brownies in me and got right up against the stage at some points.  Highly recommend seeing Bobby and Ratdog soon cause they're smokin...

my wife and I planned for phil all year then he decided he didnt want to open the show, the fucking black crows did and there gay so we never went

i heard he didnt play long anyways

glad to hear you had a good time at ratdog though

it's funny you ask about sugar magnolia cause on the way
to the show with my brother sugar magnolia came on in
my car and i started talking about how i think the song is
over-rated albeit very good and energetic song.  the part
that really gets to me is sunshine daydream.  so the transition
into sugar was flawless and was just bursting with energy
right from the start.  real tight sounding wit good leads.  the
sunshine daydream left everyone so high from the energy
and the brokedown palace afterwards was just beautiful.

lets just say im a bigger fan of sugar mags now than i was before i walked into the show.
