PSYCHEDELICS @ CONCERTS

what are some of the best concert experiences you've had while tripping?(please don't reply with "matchbox 20 changed my life") try to keep it fairly simple. I'll give you just a few of mine, in no particular order: 1)Pink Floyd in '94,2)Grateful Dead Tampa '95-(saw the dead many times but this was) my first and only unbroken chain, almost made me cry 3)Phish halloween '96 (covered the talking heads-remain in light) amazing! 4)phish '98 covering dark side of the moon 5)Ratdog B'ham '97 (bobby's 50th b'day w/ 2 of the hottest strippers ever on stage while he sang good morning little schoolgirl)-awesome 6)phish '99 at the pyramid in Memphis(greatest phish show I've ever seen) Trey Anastasio Halloween '02(my friends and I puddled trey and Chris kuroda) I've never seen a more energetic performance from trey. what are some of your experiences? :hairmetal:

I've never really enjoyed being under the influence of anything at concerts. I don't know why...music is a big thing for me I think it in a way distracts me from the show i suppose:shrug:

Under the influence of LSD for Allman Brothers & Ratdog in August of 07.  Magic really does happen. Definitely stands out the most.

The Saturday show at the first annual 'Laguna Seca Daze' music festival in Monterey CA in 1993.  I was totally out there on 8 hits of some red stars.  What an awesome weekend that was.
I don't remember the whole line-up that day but I remember when Phish was on stage very vividly.  Page McConnell did about a 10 or 15 minute solo on a grand piano that blew my mind.  I also remember that weekend was the first time I saw Dave Matthews Band.

One is Spearhead and Mushrooms. 

It was mostly the mushrooms I must say....

The best EVER was a bunch of various musicians from all sorts of bands with Giovanni Marks ()subtitle() on the mic...  late late at night in montreal..  I On best LSD I'd seen in years.. Best Thing Ever.

Usually I wouldn't really recommend.  I find the psychedelics can really distract from the actual show.  Nothing better than spending $50 on yer favorite artist and being more fascinated by some douche bags pen laser so much that you basically miss the whole show.

I ate 2 very big drops of some extremely potent liquid at a String cheese incident concert once. Blew my fucking reality apart and changed me forever in a good way . I've also had some pretty awesome LSD trips at widespread panic concerts that have put me in such amazing states of consciousness. What I like about tripping at panic shows is that the band puts that strange intense psychedelic intention into their music while much of the crowd is tripping and experiencing simultaneous consciousness expansion all coming to the same states through the play and vibrations of the music. Brings you to some strange places. Gotta love LSD.

Really? If I'm tripping, I have a hard time concentrating on anything else but the music. It engulfs me.

phish 2003 amazed me, squarepusher 2004 was the first time i ever had fun i think.  my first psytrance party had the biggest change on who i am.  it was 3 days long, my first time taking E (no effect because blotted out by heavy acid), my first time smoking hash, my first time smoking salvia on acid, my first time taking speed.  also it was the breaking point for my close friend's psyche. it was the first and only time i've felt universal love or whatever on psychedelics.

Pink Floyd cover band entitled:  Wish you were here live @ new port music hall in Columbus,OH was the best acid tripping concert i have ever been to.
