Off to India - Catchya later Shroomery!

Im heading off on a backpacking adventure and I kind of feel the need to say fair well on here as I won't be logging in for a long time. So, to all the inspirational and fun people who make up this community, thank you and all the best! :cheers:

not a fan of curry... after i saw the movie dead or alive i opted to never try it again. In the movie this woman is like... a zombie if i remember correctly. the skin on her face ends up falling off into some curry that this guy (not a zombie) ends up eating. turned me off for good.

damn you must have a weak stomach if a movie can turn you off good food

i admit ive had a few take away curries that tasted really good but tore up the dunny bowl but you cant beat homemade curry dishes if you use the right ingredients and can read recipes

Why would someone be eating a bowl of curry, that's ridiculous. It was definitely pudding.

I don't know lol, it was a poorly made "horror" movie that made me laugh more than anything. Just found that scene... disturbing. I was young, like 9 years old when I saw it so it turned me off to curry.

I think by "poorly made" you mean "fucking awesome". The directer had to go and fuck up his legacy by making lord of the rings though.:gay:

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Yes I'll be shitting red hot knitting needles a few times during the trip, we have resided ourselves to that fact. I am actually very much looking forward to toughening up my system a little. And curry - favourite food, so looking forward to eating it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We are also going to do some volunteer work while we're there and also seek some meditation and Yoga. After India we spending 2 months in Nepal and Tibet, then heading to Thailand, Cambodia and Laos to chill on some beaches and explore some temples. We might stop in Borneo for a while as well on the way home, will see where the wind takes us.
