I for one think this will be a great series. Definitely hoping it runs 7 games, and I think that's a possibility, since they're pretty evenly matched teams.

I'd have said 7, but Kazmir was sharp his last start. Shields you almost know you'll at least get a QS out of every time. Garza was great in the ALCS, and Kazmir was great in his last ALCS start. Shields, Kazmir, Garza, (Sonnastine) tromps Hamels, Myers, Moyer, (tbd) in my opinion. Unless Hamels pitches two lights out starts like he did in the NLCS the Phillies will probably loose.

I think the Phillies are more likely to go Hamels, Myers, and Blanton. Moyer has been pure trash in the playoffs. Depends on the situation though

Im really looking forward to the series starting!

I could see that changing Blanton is much better than the 60 year old Moyer. especially if they NEED a win

Kazmir gave them a shot to win tonight. I don't think they should expect much more from him. He is apparently not a big game pitcher. I may have to agree with zappa about Maddon. That hit and run was epic fail. I understand small ball, but you can't pull off a steal or hit and run every inning.

I hate these annoucers. They say the same stupid shit every game. My personal favorite: "The Phillies bullpen is so good they can make this a 6/7 inning game". Fuck is that stupid.
