Fact: Jason Marquis played for the Cardinals last year, not the Braves.

Fact: Almost 4 points come off his ERA if you take away the two games where Tony Larussa asked him to pitch the whole game and he got shelled. He took on for the team and got like 16 ER put on him in 2 games. Take that away and his ERA was a little over 2.5. The Cubs got a STEAL.

Fact: 80% of our pitching staff are going to be new or rookies. How can you say they've been inconsistent? Nobodies seen them pitch in Chicago!

Yeah, I feel the same way about Marquis. No matter what, it will be interesting to watch this year. I don't ever expect my cubbies to win, but after the late 80's/early 90's team, I do pray for a team to watch. Remember George Bell?? :thumbdown:
