Almond Portobello cult. info?

I am looking for information regarding the cultivation of the Almond Portobello. I did a search here and found nothing useful. Has anyone grown these out successfully and would you be willing to drop some of your knowledge on me? :smile:

The versions of Stamets book that I have don't have any info on these in particular so I was just extrapolating based on the information I have on the rest of the genus.
please help so that I may eat a wonderful meal soon. ;p

Search under A. Blazei in this forum.I asked the same question a few weeks back,and someone kindly posted the info from GGMM 3rd edition.

aahh.. excellent. Thanks.. for some reason when I just did a search for Agaricus Blazei it didn't come up. damn search engines anyway.
Now I can get started and hopefully and some wonderful beefy fungal friends to eat soon. :smile:

I had some dried ones a couple years ago,before they were known as "Almond Portabello"
They were not almondy,or especially distinctive.
I bet the fresh ones are better...
