South Florida - Tiny White Mushroom - Immediate Bluing
    #9060689 -

I found these mushrooms in Southeast Florida growing on dead leaves and sticks that were decaying in the bushes of a lush, well-fetrilized backyard. They are very small as you can see from the pictures: usually between a centemeter and an inch in height. The stems are no more than a milimeter in width. Id describe them as pin sized. The caps and gills are perfectly white, and on some they are bell shaped, wheres on others they have expanded into more of a disk shape. The stems were very white as well before being handled- they were almost transulent, with a very very slight hint of purplish blue underneath. However, any handling or friction at all will cause the stem to instantly turn dark dark blue- almost a purplish black. You can see in some of the pictures how the top of the stem is very white- that is what the entire stem looked like before I handled them. I also attatched pictues of them growing from the sticks and leaves. Even though they turn blue, I doubt they are hallucinogenic, as they are so small, and because I have never heard of any hallucinogenic mushrooms growing on sticks and leaves in Florida. I have not completed a spore print yet because I just picked them, but will get one done overnight. If you have any ideas on this, please let me know. Thanks!

That's a weird one, brother.
Strong bluing reaction doesn't necessarily mean it's psychoactive, (witness all those Bolletes that do the same) but it is not common. You may have something special there....

The spore print should help a lot more. I can try to look it up for you once the print is complete.
