Guess it will be easy to id each other out there today.. We will all be the whack nuts walking/biking/jogging in the rain. Not a one of us will be watching where we are going, no, instead our eyes will all be looking down sweeping from left to right, with big bright smiles!!

That is exactly what I am doing right now with what I found. I will get some good spore prints and then start some cultures all over the area :smile:

These few I found will give back in spades by this time next year, and that's not bad at all if this is all I find this year.

Went on a walk this morning to see if anything was pushing up.  The mushroom god must have been smiling on me today. 

This was probably 2/3 of a single patch I found; I left the rest for someone else, no need to be greedy.  Didn't want to ruin my camera in the rain, so I left it at home.  Here's the haul:



Just about a pound wet.

Earlier today I went hunting and I found...

a mother fucking bear. It was pretty scary. It was about 20 feet up the hill walking around the brush looking for berries I guess. He kind of just ignored me as I slowly walked away.

And I found no Cyans. :frown:

Went out hunting today, didnt find any cyans but found a little group of fall subbs! Notice the margin looks a little different then normal subbs Not sure why..

Holy shit dude thats amazing. Hey for whoever hasnt done this. I think it should be a must for every hunter. At some time in your hunting if you find  a big score or even any score, eat a mushroom right out of the ground with no hands lol just comp it off.... You have to do it at least once its a great feeling :smile:

Holy fuck sticks bat man~! Just got back from a 5 hour hike, nothing man.. How ever, i think i need to learn more about the "subs" could i get the latin genus for that layman.
I have had more luck in the forest this year than the urban. Today's hike was all urban. St. Johns to be exact.. Nothing.. Going back in the woods in an a hour or so..
