Fuck yeah 3 night run at the Hampton. All hotels within 10 miles are already sold out! More dates to be announced! This is the start of the nation recovering!!@ I knew shit was in the works!


edit: oh and fuck that nostalgia act known as "The Dead" I laugh everytime I hear someone say that they are going to see the Dead. No actually you're not. You're going to see some nostalgia act with a bunch of hipsters.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it, but maybe you shouldn't speak in such definitive terms. I certainly don't know how you would classify most of the people at Dead shows as "hipsters", which makes me wonder what shows you have been to/ are talking about. Can you explain why you think it is a "nostalgia act" because one member of the band is dead, and the others continue to tour with a fill in? If that is the criteria, than I suppose that relegates quite a few acts today as "nostalgia acts" which I don't consider as such. I guess to each his own, but opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and most of them stink...

Oh believe me buddy. I am not the only one who thinks Phil & Friends/Ratdog are horrible. They are just in it for the money now. Maybe not Phil, but Bobby yes. He charges for access to the SBD. That is keeping the spirit alright. No you can't plug in and tape this show for free, but if you give me money sure.

It isn't a personality or popularity contest. If it were, Trey would be high on the douchebag list from everything i know of him personaly, but he is a great and talented musician. Sure, others dont like PaF or RD. Plenty of people don't like Phish. What's your point? Also, since you are neither Bob Weir or Phil Lesh, to the best of my knowledge, you have no idea what they are "in  it" for. But thanks for the negativity man.

@GreenGoat:  Dude, Ratdog fucking rocks.  You can say they are just trying to cash in on Bob Weir's Dead status if you want, but when I saw them the dude was having a hell of a good time.  It looked like he just woke up from a nap and he was out there with Steve Kimock just melting faces left and right for about an hour and a half.  One of the best shows I've been to, and I'd like to see Ratdog again.  Best Estimated Prophet jam ever.  My head was spinning. :rainbowcloud:

Excellent Skydog. I agree. RD fucking rocks. No argument there. I really don't think any of these guys (The Dead) are in it for the money. They can make plenty from residual merchandising, new releases (The Egypt thing that just came out for example) etc.

My brother met Kimock a few years back...actually lived in the same town. They became friends. I got to meet him and catch a show by his sons band hahah I thought it was pretty awesome :lol:
