Phish Dates

Phish will play a four-show run beginning Thanksgiving weekend,
culminating in a 20th Anniversary performance at Boston's FleetCenter
on December 2.

The Boston show comes twenty years to the day of Phish's first
performance at an ROTC dance on the campus of the University of
Vermont. While the exact date has been the subject of some dispute
over the years, carbon dating, diligent research, and a little common
sense confirmed that December 2, 1983 was indeed the date of
the band's first show.

At the end of December, Phish returns to Florida for a four-night
run at American Airlines Arena in Miami, including a three-set
New Year's Eve show. The shows are the band's first performances in
Florida since their millennium festival at the Big Cypress Seminole
Indian Reservation in 1999.

The eight dates are as follows:

11/28 Nassau Coliseum Uniondale, NY
11/29 Wachovia Spectrum Philadelphia, PA
12/1 Pepsi Arena Albany, NY
12/2 FleetCenter Boston, MA

12/28 American Airlines Arena Miami, FL
12/29 American Airlines Arena Miami, FL
12/30 American Airlines Arena Miami, FL
12/31 American Airlines Arena Miami, FL

A limited number of tickets for all eight shows are available
directly through PHISH TICKET's secure online ticketing system at
http://phishtickets.rlc.net for a seven-day ordering period beginning
Monday, September 22, at 12:01 PM EST and ending Monday,
September 29, at 11:59 AM EST. Tickets go on sale to the public
October 17 and 18. Full tour information can be found on the now
nearly bulletproof Phish web site at http://phish.com/tourdates.

I used to feel like you do now all the time about these guys. Jesus I can't figure out what happened, I can hardly bear to hear them right now with out wanting to get the fuck away from what ever speakers they are coming from. I don't get it at all except maybe that I over did them, I mean I listen to bootlegs of them from shows I was at but that is different because you are there experiencing that with them, but I can't listen to anything else, and I rarely get out anything I've experienced either. In two months I decided I could barely tolerate a band I've lived on for 5 years, how the fuck does that happen?

Adom, I totally feel you. Toured for years, then just QUIT. Couldn't listen to Phish from the beginning to right near the end of the hiatus. Sure takes a while, but it's just musical burnout. I mean after you hear 25 Split Open and Melts, things kinda just start to seem 'meh.'

I respect Phish.
I love what they've done and how they did it is pretty impressive this day in age.
I like the band but I just don't want to listen to there music right now, maybe it's just an odd mood, I get that way sometimes, I just can't explain it and don't really understand it myself.    :confused: :rolleyes:

i can kind of understand what you mean. that has happened to me with quite a bit of music. but phish is the most i've ever been into music. i hope i don't get sick of it anytime soon. And even if you don't like them you respect them. I hate the little blink 182 kids that say phish sucks when they haven't heard a note of what they've played. they could blow so many bands out of the water. a lot of people don't understand their talent.
