Epsom salt and cacti

Hello friends,

Is there any know problem of using diluted Epsom salt (Magnesium sulfate) for foliar spray and/or watering, in San Pedro/Peruvian torch cacti?

I read at MOD EDIT: Non sponsor links not allowed! You can always cut and paste info. about using this to promote trace elements absorption and, well, chlorophyll has Mg++ in it's structure.

Also, will a high phosphorus peters fertilizer (8-45-14) improve root development without problems? (I had to transplant my San Pedro to a larger pot and some of its roots got broken).

Well, one more question: What about using that recipes with molasses in the cacti soil? I read that molasses can help with the soil microorganisms and also have lots of trace elements and some low n-p-k.
