Rattlesnake

There's a rattlesnake on my block tonight.  It's about 2.5 feet long and it's cruising the gutters on my street.  I called the cops to get it removed because this is a pretty residential area...no big nature areas in the immediate vicinity and lots of pets and people that don't expect a snake in the street.  Cool though!

I found a copperhead in my goat shed once.  I launched a pitchfork at it, but it landed such that the snake was between the prongs.  He just slithered away.
