I'm only fifteen minutes into it, and it's pretty interesting so far. I think the cube he's stuck in is meant to symbolize life, or society, or something significant like that. Everyone's got "their own door" to get in and out of the different cubes, and he hasn't found his exit yet. He's been framed, apparently, by the Police and they've shackled him; once he's in the shackles, a snobbish woman barges in and criticizes the color of his walls. That's about it so far.
IMO it gives you more to think about than most of the film we consume on a regular basis. For an obviously low budget clip, it's pretty damn good.

this thing really wasnt all that good. nor creepy.

it was almost as if they were trying to blend a creepy idea with humor.
its really kind of pointless.

reminded me of that movie 1408 for a minute.

My assessment of this movie depends entirely on how revolutionary it was, because if it was one of the first movies to do that sort of thing then that's pretty impressive.  It was pretty much a mindfuck either way.

Maybe there is a hidden message in it. Like, if he wasnt so busy trying to get out of the box and just went with whatever situation was taking place he would have been happy.

Like discussing reality with the scientist, or talking with the janitor guy. etc.

Either way i caint stop thinking about it. Great fucking movie/show/clip or whatever.

Someone DID have it right though when they said the author must have done a ton of acid in his time.....No doubt.

After watching it again I simply think he was trying to convery that Reality and where we are is exactly what we make of it. And what we define reality.

In the beginning he was talking to the "Manager" and the manager explained that some people Choose to stay in the cube and are contempt with being there. Then he explains others choose to leave.

When he asks to leave he says "You caint go out that door.....Thats my door"

If youll notice at the very end in the big long speech he gave he eventually said "I know who I am!. Im the Guy whos gonna walk out THAT door"

And sure enough he walked out that door.

Notice when being interviewed by the guy to leave the facility. Right before his paper work was signed he told the clerk that he was so glad his revolation made sense, and that his physical body was what defined him. As soon as he cut himself he noticed his blood was strawberry jam and then he was back in the cube.

I think the author is trying to convey that our physical bodies have nothing to do with who we are or what defines where we are in life. LOTS of cool stuff In the Video.
