UFC 90 should be pretty cool

-Anderson Silva  vs. Patrick Cote
-Thiago Alves  vs. Diego Sanchez
-Fabricio Werdum  vs. Junior dos Santos
-Tyson Griffin vs. Sean Sherk
-Thales Leites vs. Goran Reljic

Preliminary Bouts:
-Spencer Fisher vs. Shannon Gugerty
-Ricardo Almeida vs. Matt Horwich
-Hermes Franca vs. Gleison Tibau
-Josh Burkman vs. Pete Sell
-Gray Maynard vs. Rich Clementi


I'm looking forward to the whole main card, especially Thiago beating up Sanchez.  Amleida/Horwich and a few of the other undercard fights should be good as well.

Feel free to discuss any other upcoming fights you may be looking forward to as well so the post doesn't die off to people pissed about football.

It's slightly better than mediocre.


main event is kinda weak.



Griffin-Sherk brings up curiosity.


Ricardo Almeida needs an upgrade to TV time.

Yeah I'm just kind of taking it like a card with no main event, I am slightly interested but only about as much as the other fights on the card. 

Thiago vs Diego is going to be my main event :thumbup:

I do enjoy watching Anderson Silva pick people apart though, so although I'm not really that interested in Silva vs Cote I'm still going to enjoy the show.

I am interested in the fight coming up on the UFC 89 show from London..

Lyoto Machida Vs Thiago Silva... 13-0 vs 13-0...  I been waiting for that match up for a year now.

Sorry bro, that fight has been scrapped due to Thiago Silva getting injured during training...

This card is pretty sick, being a Canadian I am rooting for Cote though I am kinda worried for him... hopefully he makes it outta there alive, and with the belt!

Yeah it's a shame that fight isn't going to happen and they couldn't find Machida somebody else to fight.  Was definitely the highlight of the UK card.

Cote went 5 rounds against Tito when everyone said he was the unbeatable dominating champion, so I wouldn't ever count him out.  I really don't think he'll pull off a win or anything, but you have to know that Cote is game for anything.

I think Sherk is winning that fight.

Silva is without a doubt the hottest fighter in the sport right now.  It'd take a heroic effort by somebody at 185 pounds to beat him but I think Matt Lindland or Dan Henderson would be able to do it, Henderson beat him in the first round of their meeting but ended up getting caught in round 2.  Nobody wants to fight Henderson a second time though, I don't think anyone's won a rematch with him.  I don't really see anyone beating Anderson at 185 anytime soon but if he keeps stepping into the 205 weight class they could find somebody to put him to sleep with a heavy shot eventually.
