Found in Seattle. Need ID help. Pics included.

I found these in Seattle Washington. They were found in moderately high grass and were very slimy on the top when I pulled them out.

I wasn?t even planning to post these, but just for the hell of it, I brusied one of them and it bruised blue. As you can see, these don?t appear to have gills. Also, no spore print available yet. I doubt they are magical shrooms, but I?d like ID anyhow.

Cheers!

Looks like Suillus grevillei or Suillus luteus, likely the first.

As Anno suggested, these are Suillus grevillei. They are edible (peel off the slime layer first), but not wonderfully so. Incidentally, that is not blue bruising - it's more like brown. Blue bruising will be much more obviously blue. Try to be very careful to not be too wishful when watching bruising color changes - there are people who have mistaken the darkening of deadly Galerinas for blueing with unpleasant results.

Suillus luteus is similar looking but the tubes do not bruise like your specimens did, and there would be glandular dots visible on the stem.

Excellent photos.

Happy mushrooming!
